About

With over 20 years of experience, I have acquired various clinical experiences. I help adolescents, adults, couples, and families with anxiety, depression, addiction, anger management, relationships, stress, and trauma. I believe in a holistic approach to psychological healing, which encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual, with each component influencing the others. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, infused with an emphasis on mindfulness and acceptance. I am also certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I enjoy reading, watching TV shows and movies, hiking, practicing martial arts, drawing, listening to and playing music, and attending theater plays.

About

I believe the world could be a better place if we could all be kinder to one another. Working together and building strong connections can be helpful when struggling with life’s ups and downs. As a therapist, I help with academic issues, body image, self-esteem, self-harm, technology addiction, and sexual assault. I use a holistic, patient-centered approach to create a safe and supportive environment. By rewiring the brain, we create changes in our thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors. While many things remain out of our control, learning coping skills, practicing mindfulness, and acknowledging the mind-body connection can empower patients to heal and thrive. I am a strong advocate for self-care. For me, it’s sometimes the little things that help: going to get ice cream or slowing down and enjoying an extra hot latte. I also enjoy the arts, whether painting, craft-making, or listening to music while baking a new recipe.

About

I help with adjustment concerns, grief and loss, family issues, mood issues, and relationships. I use various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Incorporating Humanistic philosophies in my work, every person deserves love and respect and is an expert in their life. My purpose as a therapist is to support, suggest, and succor as needed. Openness, curiosity, and acceptance inform my multicultural approach.

Away from work, I have been blessed with other passions to enrich my life. I have traversed the globe with my spouse. We participated in a tea ceremony at the Imperial Gardens in Tokyo, slept a night in the Amazon in Brazil, hiked into the rainforest to see wild koalas in Southern Australia, and watched the sunrise from Angkor Watt in Cambodia. Every year, we visit New York City to enjoy opera at the MET, jazz at Birdland, theater on Broadway, and a slice of New York-style pizza. I am a voracious reader of sci-fi/fantasy on my Kindle.

About

I help patients to recognize their strengths, develop compassion for their challenges, and show them the skills to help achieve their goals. I know that vulnerability and transparency are difficult for many, so every encounter should begin by building an alliance and creating a safe environment. As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I help with academic issues, anxiety, depression, family conflict, life transitions, PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harm, and sexual assault. My trauma-informed approach is collaborative, culturally appreciative, and cognitive-behavioral based. I understand that humans experience feelings and thought patterns that may contribute to internal conflict. I aim to help patients process these emotions and create new thought patterns that can help them become the healthiest versions of themselves. Outside work, I challenge myself to find the best food in town. I love the theatre and will find any excuse to explore the world.

About

Lucy’s approach to patient care is collaborative, and she views therapy as a partnership, where the patient’s voices and choices are central. She incorporates creative modalities into her therapeutic approach, which can provide patients with meaningful ways to connect with different aspects of themselves—including their inner child—that may need care and attention.  Her guiding philosophy is to create a safe and empowering environment where patients feel supported in exploring their challenges and discovering new paths toward growth and healing.

Lucy enjoys working with people as they navigate challenges, because it means they don’t have to go through it alone. She is especially passionate about helping patients work through anxiety, particularly fears of the unknown, and supporting them in building tools to face those fears collaboratively. She also focuses on relationship concerns, whether they involve romantic partners, friendships, or family dynamics.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys reading, hiking, and recently began taking art classes to explore her creative side. On a personal note, she’d always dreamed of having a black cat and now has two, happily embracing her role as a happy “cat lady”!

About

Stephanie’s approach to working with patients is grounded in collaboration, authenticity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. She strives to create a warm, non-judgmental space where patients feel safe to explore their challenges and strengths.

Incorporating narrative therapy allows her to help patients externalize problems, re-author their stories, and recognize the values, skills, and identities that support their growth. Stephanie values clear communication, cultural humility, and meeting patients exactly where they are. Her goal is to empower students to build insight, develop practical skills, and cultivate resilience as they navigate both personal and academic stressors. Above all, she believes in honoring each client’s autonomy and capacity for change.

Stephanie was inspired to work in mental health by the stigma she saw in under-represented communities and cultures. As an eldest daughter, she understands firsthand the pressures of carrying expectations, breaking barriers, and taking up space in environments that weren’t always built with us in mind. Outside of work, Stephanie loves traveling, reading, and being a dog mom to her goldendoodle.
