Dr. Hannah Freund’s approach to therapy emphasizes the mind-body connection, the power of bringing the unconscious into greater awareness, and the belief that human connection is essential for healing and growth. Dr. Freund helps patients process emotional difficulties related to self-image, relationships, and other daily stressors. She is guided by the belief that mental health care is a movement for social justice and resistance against systemic oppression. Dr. Freund is inspired by the human capacity for freedom and personal transformation. She also draws inspiration from nature and mindfulness practices, which cultivate greater inner peace and the capacity to make choices that are aligned with one’s true values.

Ami Jester is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than seven years of experience, including exploring the country as a travel nurse. Ami is focused on improving LGBTQIA+ patients’ experiences in healthcare settings and is passionate about raising the bar in LGBTQIA+ health. She wants her patients to be successful in school, work, and relationships, as a person who will always be learning and growing. Ami respects each patient’s unique experiences in the world and understands how the intersectionality of multiple identities affects it. The beautiful thing about mental health treatment is that it looks different for each person depending on their goals, and Ami is excited to discover how she can work collaboratively to achieve them.  

Ami is from Kansas City, Missouri and discovered that the West Coast is truly the best coast. Her hobbies include taking her dog to the beach and watching women’s soccer. She can’t wait to root for the Slugs!

Gayatri believes we all have the inner resources to change and grow, and that people have the power to author their own stories. She brings warmth and humor to therapy, creating a safe space for patients to explore their challenges and discover solutions. Gayatri helps with academic issues and self-esteem. Her collaborative and interactive approach helps patients build confidence and craft strong personal narratives. Gayatri was inspired to become a clinician while raising bicultural and biracial children who faced social challenges during their teen years. She loves animals, a good cup of tea, and spending time in nature. Gayatri is an avid tennis fan and can often be found glued to the TV during the Grand Slams.

He fosters a strong therapeutic bond, empowering individuals to explore their challenges openly and work toward meaningful solutions that support growth and resilience. 

Inspired by his college professors and a family history rooted in service, Brennen has spent the past twelve years in community mental health. Through this work, he has become a dedicated therapist passionate about helping individuals overcome obstacles and achieve their life goals. 

Outside work, Brennen enjoys fishing, surfing, backpacking, and exploring California’s coast and Sierra Nevada.

Caitlin is guided by each person’s unique goals and helps them build coping skills and confidence while creating a sense of ease and self-understanding. Her path to becoming a therapist was shaped by her own lived experiences with mental health challenges, which sparked a deep empathy and dedication to healing. Through her work with diverse individuals and communities, she remains inspired by the resilience and courage people show in the face of hardship. Outside work, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs, creating art, reading, cooking, and occasionally playing video games.
