About

Daniel (he/him) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who entered the mental health field to use his empathy and emotional awareness to support others. To him, school is a time of endless potential and possibility. Anything can happen, and it helps to have someone on your side through it all. Daniel enjoys helping students discover who they are and what they can truly achieve. Even if someone isn’t in school, he believes people never stop learning and growing throughout their life.

Daniel practices a variety of therapeutic modalities but mainly operates from a Psychodynamic base. He helps students bring unconscious feelings to conscious awareness, so they are better equipped to handle their problems. For him, therapy is a relational experience: it works best when you get along with your therapist! He also excels in working with the LGBTQIA+ population and has years of experience helping with issues unique to this demographic, such as coming out, exploring sexuality, and gender-affirming care.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys video games, committing to the bit, and watching lively book discussions online.

About

I am down-to-earth and genuine in our therapy sessions. I help with depression, anxiety, ADHD, academic issues, grief, loss, life transitions, self-esteem, and trauma. My integrative treatment approach uses cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based interventions to help patients develop self-compassion, self-efficacy, and resilience. As a former educator, I deeply understood how integral mental health is for students and learned the value of building upon individual strengths, empowerment, and using a holistic perspective.
