About
Laura has over seven years of experience providing mental health care. Her patient-centered approach ensures that treatment is structured and adaptable to each individual’s needs. While she provides guidance and support, she prioritizes meeting patients where they are in their journey. If a patient feels ambivalent about change, Laura works collaboratively with them to explore barriers and identify achievable, sustainable steps forward. Understanding where a patient is emotionally and mentally allows her to offer the right support and encouragement to create meaningful progress.
Laura was inspired to pursue mental health work through her own experiences with intergenerational stress. She has witnessed firsthand how limited access to mental health services and societal pressure to manage stress independently can impact family relationships. Laura believes in empowering individuals to take an active role in their mental health, ultimately improving well-being at both personal and community levels. She has experience in school-based programs and private practice.

About
Carrie believes that one’s lived experience is a reflection of the quality and strength of their past and present relationships with others. She approaches her work from a psychodynamic and relational lens, and likes to include philosophical, artistic, and literary perspectives as well. Carrie likes to explore what overarching themes or motifs patients can identify in their personal history and use that to inform the therapeutic trajectory. She loves using humor in her work, and she views the relationship between therapist and patient as the most important aspect of successful therapy.
Carrie formally pursued clinical training after graduating from college and undergoing her own formative experiences of existential anxiety and grief. During that journey, she realized that much of what she experienced was universal, and that therapeutic support is essential to those navigating ongoing, developmental stressors. Young adulthood is such a complex and important life stage and is particularly anxiety inducing and isolating in our current era. She loves working with young adults for that very reason and is grateful to support them in an essential phase of personal and relational self-discovery.
