About

My main priority as a clinician is building trust and creating a safe space for my patients. I use a strengths-based approach to help reflect my patients’ skills and a person-centered approach to explore your past that led you to who you are and help build toward self-compassion and self-love. I help with dysfunctional family dynamics, life changes, self-esteem, and codependent relationships. I have always wanted to work in mental health because I believe that everyone needs to be seen and heard. I enjoy reading, watching TV, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog, Willa.

About

Amber has over a decade of experience supporting individuals and communities in navigating mental health challenges. She helps with academic issues, body image, and self-esteem. Amber creates an inclusive, empowering space where students, faculty, and staff can prioritize their mental well-being and personal development. Amber’s approach promotes authenticity, resilience, and holistic wellness, guiding students to thrive both academically and personally. Her work within collegiate environments is grounded in her commitment to making mental health accessible and essential, particularly for those from marginalized and underserved communities.

Amber’s passion for mental health was sparked after witnessing the significant disparities in care provided to marginalized communities. She observed how mental health was often viewed as secondary to overall well-being, especially for individuals facing systemic barriers. This realization fueled her dedication to advocate for mental health as fundamental, non-negotiable aspect of wellness. As a proud UC Berkeley alumna, Amber is eager to bring her expertise and passion for wellness back to the community that has been pivotal in her own growth.

About

Laura has over seven years of experience providing mental health care. Her patient-centered approach ensures that treatment is structured and adaptable to each individual’s needs. While she provides guidance and support, she prioritizes meeting patients where they are in their journey. If a patient feels ambivalent about change, Laura works collaboratively with them to explore barriers and identify achievable, sustainable steps forward. Understanding where a patient is emotionally and mentally allows her to offer the right support and encouragement to create meaningful progress.

Laura was inspired to pursue mental health work through her own experiences with intergenerational stress. She has witnessed firsthand how limited access to mental health services and societal pressure to manage stress independently can impact family relationships. Laura believes in empowering individuals to take an active role in their mental health, ultimately improving well-being at both personal and community levels. She has experience in school-based programs and private practice.
