The journey into therapy takes tremendous courage, and I appreciate the opportunity to provide a collaborative pathway towards personal growth for everyone who steps into my office.

My journey into community mental health began after finishing a master’s degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Since then, I have been privileged to help individuals with diverse life stories work through their unique concerns. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy with a foundation in humanistic psychology that provides a non-judgmental space to meet your individualized treatment goals. In a typical session we might focus on untangling maladaptive thought patterns, reauthoring challenging life stories, processing complex emotions, or using mindfulness to quiet a busy brain. Together we will create a path towards overcoming ingrained anxieties, developing self compassion, and affirming yourself as the expert in your life.

Personally, I love living in the Twin Cities and experiencing all four seasons of Minnesota. I find pleasure in exploring the varieties of art, especially music and live performance. On any given Friday night I might find myself at a local concert venue, playing board games with friends, or just relaxing at home with my family and animals. Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little about me!
